I've been tagged recently by Cam at CurlyPops and Jess at The Crafty Librarian in two very similar memes.
The rules:
- Link to the person who tagged you
- Mention the rules
- Tell six quirky yet boring, unspectacular or random details about yourself
- Tag six other bloggers by linking to them
- Go to each person's blog and leave a comment that lets them know they've been tagged
You may remember I actually did this meme a couple of weeks ago. Being a cheeky girl, I tagged myself. I realized that hardly seems fair, so I've decided to answer again. This time with the help of Google's 2001 archive. This is all random and useless information you would have found on my website in 2001.
- In 1991, I won a radio contest and wrote a very funny story about it.
- Around 1993, my seamonkeys died. I still hold a small grudge [you need to scroll down to past the missing picture]
- After attending a They Might Be Giants concert in 1999, I decided to give up on dating scene. "...so see if you can bring a friend?"
- I gave the world my complete medical history. I guess it was so anyone worldwide could identify my remains [again, scroll the archive didn't save pictures. sorry.]
- I stuck my arm in the stomach of a porthole cow and told the world about it. [Whee!!! the pictures still work on this one!!]
- and I had a really big Pez collection.
I'll be tagging:
- Bellgirl for being an awesome reporter and having a cute logo!
- Bowerbirdz because she's made me love math and buttons again
- No Life Without Wife because she's got great stuff to say and for some reason never updates in google reader. I must seek her out daily, but it's always good.
- Sharon because I love her sashiko posts and may try it myself one day
- Stacy because she followed my blog before I even added the followers button. Though after this post, she may run away screaming!
- and Cignoh (because I haven't heard from her in months and want her back on the blog bandwagon)
what is this updating in google reader? Can you give me a brief lesson?
ReplyDeletei nearly wet myself laughing at that email!! What a classic!
ReplyDeleteI love the random facts... mine will not be nearly as good.
