I went to Lincraft to buy terry-toweling or waffle weave for some bibs. I wanted to experiment with new materials. Apparently the CBD store stocks neither. They do however stock a lot of ricrac. My pocketbook is feeling the pain.

I spent about 2 hours wondering around Spotlight the other day, picking up bits, then putting them back. They didn't have what I was looking for, so I wasted 2 hours looking at everything else in the store, because, like Chuncky Chooky said, you can't go to a fabric store an buy nothing. I came away with $1.60 worth of ribbon!
I can never walk out empty handed! Actually the other day I bought some clover stitch markers as I saw them on your blog and they definitely make a big difference to following a pattern.

Hi Amy - is the Lincraft store at Alexandria any better? Have you been there? If you want to check it out, would love to do a joint shopping trip with you sometime. (I've been meaning to go for a while....). And/or Prints Charming (haven't been since they moved to the new address). Let me know - wld be good to catch up for a coffee/fabric shopping expedition!
I bought terry at the Bondi Spotlight before, I think. And if I didn't, then the only other place it could have been, would be the CBD Lincraft. You have to strike it lucky SOMETIME! :p
