unravelled.

It all started innocently enough, I had just one little ball of Koigu yarn to add to my Ravelry stash.

That was four hours ago...

Are you good about keeping your Ravelry stash and project info up to date?

Are you're i's dotted, t's crossed and hanks counted?

Mine have fallen by the wayside. I've pepped them up today with unaccounted for purchases, uncounted skeins and fresh new photos. It's still a bit slack but at least now I have most of my shade numbers and dyelots noted. I won't mention the small pile of yarns still unentered.

It's a bit like cleaning the craft room for me. It's a monumental task, but it feels so good to have made some progress. Is your stash on Ravelry? I'd love to see.

  1. My Ravery stash page isn't quite up to date either. I don't even want to think about how much I need to do to get it up to date! But you may have inspired me.

  2. Pretty! I just added you to my Ravelry contacts. Knitting has taken a backseat to sewing these days so my Rav account doesn't get the love it did for the last several years but you've reminded me that I should add my yarn acquired on recent trips.

  3. Yes that's a great project to get on with....when I don't want to physically organise I could virtually..and it is much more interesting to organise yarn than file/throw away papers!!
    Job well done Amy!

  4. Nice Amy!! Good for you - there is no way i'm putting all my stash on there - too much work. I only put on the new purchases. I'm on there as Trilliumdesign

  5. Congratulations! I rarely manage pictures of anything - at least not decent post-able pictures, so I'm already impressed. Keeping Ravelry up-to-date is a love-hate thing. It's so pretty, and so time consuming!

  6. My stash is up to date, apart from a complete lack of photos! I keep meaning to take some, as it just makes the page so much more pleasing to look at (as well as easier to navigate), but there are always more pressing matters. Maybe I should add it to my 2011 To Do list (on the blog).

  7. Nice work. My Rav stash isn't really up to date. Neither are my projects. I don't intend to update it any time soo either. That would be taking time away from knitting!

  8. I do - I love updating it every time I buy new yarn! I don't take such pretty photos as you though :-( http://www.ravelry.com/people/Rhian82/stash

  9. I'm hopeless at keeping it up to date. I wish I was better at it, but alas, there is no inner-librarian for me to unleash.

  10. I saw your activity on Ravelry and got a bit excited. Most of my stash is up to date with a very small exception on my desk that I have taken photos of ready to upload.
