View from Coronet Peak Base Lodge

Craig and I are snowbirds. We met at a snowlodge and have been to the mountains nearly every year since. Despite the absense of snow, we decided to have a look at one of Queenstown's peaks. The view was other worldly. We're looking forward to returning when the snow is about.

  2. I'm loving your travelogue of the South Island. Though I'm American, I got to spend six weeks in New Zealand on a Fulbright program for teachers and I loved every minute of it. I learned to ski at Coronet Mountain and it was amazing tho misleading-I've never skied in conditions as good since.
