Apparently this needs to be said and that makes me quite sad: My social media contributions are my own and do not necessarily reflect the views of any of past, present or future employers.
Sorry however that you've had to state it, please don't let it change your wonderful blog. I look forward to reading it everyday and I appreciate your generous tutorials very much.
WTF! I think that's crossing the boundaries there! And if your employer is reading this - "Pull your head in". That represents my views and does not reflect on anyone. Amy, I love your blog and I never once think of it as a reflection of any of your employers.
What does that mean?? You can say whatever you like on your own social network! Thats what it exists for-opinions and information.Crazy.I hope whatever went down wasnt too horrible Amy : )
"You're a rockstar" Come on Amy, I think you have a self inflated view of the world going on there. That song Pink wrote about her husband when she was sticking it to him. The reference is a little passive agressive! Are you like the Barack Obama of the Quilting World now? As in president of the whole world. Take a step back and have a deep breath. Maybe take some personal stock along the way.
Hi Ruth - Sadly can't find your email to hit reply. The photo was the first one in my flickr stream that hadn't been shared on my blog. Nothing intentional or subversive in the meaning.
But you are a rockstar, thank you for leaving a comment.
Sending you love from afar! I don't know you...but I sure love your blog!!!! And thanks for bringing back memories...I loved those Dymos!! Makes me want to go find one pronto!
Hey Amy, I too must have missed something. I look forward to every post and adore your fabulous tutes and gorgeous photos. Hope the storm has passed and you can get back to doing what you love soon.
Of course I could say that your social media contributions have meshed exactly with at least one of your past employers, since you were self-employed; or I could say that your future employers are hypothetical until they become actual, so they can have no power to counsel you in any regard as to your opinion pieces in your social media of choice.
Or I could just say, I love reading, seeing, considering, imagining, and learning from your contributions. How can anyone find that exceptional?
I love your blog and although I have a Ruth and sometimes comment using her account I am in no way liable for any other "Ruth" 's comments. Just had to say that. My Dymo never made a clean cut so I always had to use scissors and then got the white edge. But I still loved being on the cutting edge back then. Cherrie
That makes me sad too!
ReplyDeleteLOVE me a label maker! HATE having to justify my opinions!
ReplyDeleteNoted!!
