my creative space

My creative space this week is covered in parts. Parts for about 50 sofites. Parts for about 25 bibs. Lots and lots of parts. Rather than show you parts, I thought I'd mention my happy discovery. I'm a bit unconventional in my crafting and often use things in ways they weren't intended. I discovered a jelly roll strip is the perfect size for chicken crowns. I love when I find a new use for something in the stash.

And for those of you at Brown Owls who saw me lay down my crochet hook in defeat, we beat it! I've finished the body and one leg of my little piggie. I've dropped a few stitches here and there, but all-in-all I reckon it's a pretty good first go at crochet.

  4. I am so jealous that you can just "find" Pez in your stash. I've been searching high and low online without luck. Your stash must be magical.
