spring to..finish

Looking for a little extra motivation this month? Jacquie is hosting a 'Spring to... Finish" blog motivational party. It's a chance to get those half-finished projects out the door. I found out about it from Darci.

Taking a peak around my creative space, I see there's more than a few unfinished projects sitting around. The piles are so high, that all I can I think of is Robert Frost "...and miles to go before I sleep."

Making for the markets boosted my project list. Here's what I have on for April and May:

  1. finish handquilting the hexagon quilt
  2. practice freemotion quilting on the green and yellow pinwheel quilt top
  3. finish the chirpy custom orders from yesterday
  4. freemotion quilt the bird blocks
  5. werby secret softie project
  6. finish the amigurumi pig. Current status - body, head and one leg done.
  7. make an katamari magnet ball. How rockin' are they?
  8. finish the now long overdue craft room revamp
  9. get EFTPOS up and running for the markets
  10. nyella secret softie project
  11. work on a new tattoo design
  12. dogs, hippos, chickens, mobiles and more for the markets.
  13. better displays and things for the big market

Number 11 is a tough one. It's always hard to guess how much is enough for the markets. Particularly when you're selling with so many talented people. Have you see the Finders Keepers list? I'll be spending my earnings as fast as I get them.

Do you have a stack of half-finished projects in your house? Grab a button from Jacquie and join in the fun.

  1. You have so much more on your list than I do!!! Goodluck. All of your stuff on your list sounds fun and exciting, I can't wait to see pics of all the quilts done!

  2. I'm hoping to either be stimulated by a new Canon or a holiday. It could go either way at this point.
