giveaway karma

From time to time, I harp on about giveaway karma. My philosophy is that you don't enter every giveaway you stumble across in blogland. You save it up for things you really want. That way you concentrate your karma on the good stuff!

That's what I did last month with the Sew, Mama, Sew May giveaway day. I saw that Sabine at Farbenmix was giving way enough ribbons and trims to fill a bathtub. I decided this was certainly one worth entering... and I won the grand prize!!! Before you get too jealous, I've got a plan to distribute the wealth!

And what sort of wealth might I share?! You see there were some ribbons...



Ribbons with rockets... Ribbons with robots... and well some more totally awesome ribbons.


Not just a small little taste of these ribbons, but 2 meters of each! If you're searching for these on the Farbenmix shop, look under Webbänder. This next batch looks perfect for trim tags!


Did I mention that it was a bucketload of ribbons? I think it's the entire range.


But if that wasn't already enough, Sabine actually added more prizes to the box. Including a mega-clever sewing notepad to help track our projects. There were keychains, diamante patterns and notecards.


and some packing tape which is a must because as I mentioned, I am certainly going to share these gems out!


Then to my surprise, the package even had meters of poplin fabric.


because it would take me a lifetime to use up all these gems, I've decided that I'll be having six weeks of Farbenmix giveaways to share with you, my blog readers. Each Monday, I'll post a giveaway package and let you know how you can win. Sometimes it will be a quick easy "leave a comment", other times it might be a bit of scavenger hunt! Too fun!
