it is about the experience

If you only have two hours to visit the Darling Harbour craft show...

learning to screenprint - cutting my stencil

learning to screenprint - my template

learning to screen print - printing

learning to screenprint - permaset and squeegee

learning to screenprint - my results

learning to screenprint - my tea towel

...spend them with Louise Snook. Her hour and a half screen printing workshop is well worth every cent. You'll come away with your own screen printed tea towel and a wealth of information.

My tea towel isn't perfect. My dogs are a little wonky. But I've come away full of possibilities, I'm eager and energized. I'm happy. Best thirty dollars that I've ever spent on craft. Seriously, that good.

  13. What makes it special and unique is it's imperfectness. That's what you have to embrace with screenprinting. Maybe that is why my screen sits in the shed. ;-)

    Super cute tea towel.

  17. That's kind-of what I like best about your blog - you're always trying out new things. I probably wouldn't have thought to stop and do this workshop on my own, but now I've seen you doing it, I'll know to look out for it.
