The journey hasn’t been without
craft, of course. I’ve been working on
my long running log cabin crochet project. Is it ever going to end? I bought yarn on nearly every trip to Japan. Finally I had to put a moratorium on purchasing it because I was buying it much faster than I could use it.
So I found another purpose for some of it. After I made one at Brown Owls last week, Craig asked me to teach him how to make
friendship bracelets. I thought he could use yarn to practice. Apparently, he’s a clever boy.
I also finished up the embroidery
on my contribution for the
Sew Out Loud quilt along. I can’t wait to show
you. I’m still about nine days from
home, so the quiltalong tutorial will automatically pop up for you soon. Until
then, I’ll be taking photos of blue sky, climbing very tall trees and drinking
Margaret River wine. I'll be eager to show you when I get back. A lucky girl in a lucky country.
Looks like a fab trip, and WTG Craig!
ReplyDeleteThe friendship bracelet looks like it is coming along well. Log cabin crochet - what an excellent idea. Those blue, blue skies, beautiful. I want to get myself to Perth one of these days.
