10 days of birthdays - day 3, part 2

My friend Nat [left] celebrated her birthday yesterday. We had tapas at Emmilou in Surry Hills. Nat's pretty great. Her friend Raissa [right] is pretty great too.


I gave Nat a long overdue Emmeline apron. She likes music and clubs quite a bit, so I appliqued DJ headphones on it. I even used a fancy stitch on my sewing machine for the cable. It's the first time I've used anything other than straight or zigzag.


The reverse side is the tortoise blossom fabric that Craig did not want me to cut. It doesn't photograph well, but rocks in real life.


We wore party hats.
