10 days of birthdays - day 5, part 1

My fifth birthday was uneventful and not noteworthy unless you like Holly Hobbie. I had a Holly Hobbie cake that year. So we'll skip ahead to number six where I embraced my inner party planner.

Just look how well I set the table. Every napkin was spread out. The spoons and forks at easy access for everyone.

I had a carousel cake, a rectangle cake and we wore party hats. It appears that I had the exact same cake for my seventh birthday, but my table setting skills had improved. I'm digging the mushrooms we added to the wall that year.

My musical tastes were already diverse and questionable. I got the Grease soundtrack and the Charlie Daniels Band.

We skipped the party hats and opted for balloons.

I hogged all of the sugar cake topping,

and they finally gave Eric and I different haircuts.
