Is she rocking this apron or what? I love the action shot she sent me!
Jen lives in San Francisco which is my second home. I loved this girl from the moment I met her (well didn't meet her actually!). Her boyfriend and I worked together and both liked watching football. We arranged a day out to the bars to see some men in tight pants with rock hard abs running around. Dave probably wasn't there for the abs, but that's his loss. Jen stayed home to sew pillows, but called ahead to arrange a deal with the bartender to get drinks for Dave and I. What an awesome girlfriend!
I mentioned she's a wedding photographer. You should see her truly awe-inspiring gallery. The first image on this page will make you melt. I kid you not!
Rumor has it that she'll be travelling to Australia in 2009, so if you're after a top-notch wedding photographer, she might be here! Of course, I'm starting the rumor mostly because I miss her and hope she finds time in her busy shooting schedule to visit!
I forbade her from bringing her camera to my wedding. I wanted to her to relax, enjoy the Mai-Tais and truly be a guest on our special day. She didn't listen, of course. Look at these gorgeous shots that she snuck in when I wasn't looking. From the looks of the things, every time I turned my head for a kiss, she went straight to the camera for a click. Sneak sneaky girl!!
More importantly, she's always been a good friend to me. Being an Oklahoma gal, she's got a sense of southern hospitality and genuine friendship. I miss you heaps, Jen!
And for all of the other gals out there wondering where their aprons are... This morning, I've spied a little something hanging from the sewing room door.
I adore that apron. You are lucky to have such a terrific friend, no wonder you miss her so. Those photos are just beautiful.
