wednesday already?

Is it Wednesday already? Where has the week gone? And I've hardly said a word... Satuday was a flurry of activity. I'm not sure why I get these hairbrained ideas the day before market, but I decided it was time to revamp my platypus to something more suitcase friendly with more fabrics in it.


These fellas are all in the house with me now and will be making more journeys to Bondi Markets until Christmas.

And then I needed to complete a hoop for the Scrappy Hoop Swap. I can't say much about my partner because she hasn't received it yet. I can say it was a four hour quest to find a wooden hoop in Sydney. Someone (one of you perhaps?) is apparently hoarding them and managed to buy out spotlight, lincraft and riot craft in Bondi, Rockdale and beyond. Thankfully you hadn't found Riot Craft Eastgardens and their last 8" and 6" hoops are now mine.


And that's where I am now... Gnome Sweet Gnome.

    Dang it!! I had some well laid plans to hit Rockdale spotlight up for some hoops tomorrow....now my bottom lip is most definately stuck out :-(

    Amy! I adore your hoop! It is so cute! I am glad you finally found a hoop! How would someone stateside acquire one of your adorable platypuses? (platypi?) I would love one and I think my little girl would adore it!
