I finished my doll quilt swap 10 quilt last week. I thought, for once, I'd show you a finished project. This photo comes from Lynne, the new owner. It arrived at her doorstep today.
I kept the quilting simple. I made a grid pattern aligned with the button fabric design. Then did simple quilting in the newsprint sections. I used a thin black & white pinstripe from Moda's Authentic for the binding. Then I washed it to wrinkle it up quite a bit. Then I washed it again for more wrinkles.
I hope you like it, Lynne!
Lovely quilt.
ReplyDeleteIt turned out so beautifully! And how fun is that, I'm glad it was for Lynne. Since she was in love with it. Now she can drool over it in person. :)
ReplyDeleteI thought it was for Lynne when I first saw it, what a great partner- you and her! It is very Lynne
