giveaway winners

Feeling frisky, I decided to do the drawing the old fashion way. Pen, paper and a really awesome bowl. The only thing that would have made this better would be one of Jen's gorgeous bracelets to drape casually across the plate.

I wrote down all of your names in my bad handwriting. I wrote some of them twice because you're awesome people who blogged about Jen's new store.

I folded them all in half and stuck them in aforementioned bowl. They barely fit. I remember a time when I'd get so few names that I could fit them in a tiny ugly fabric fish. I should add at this point, that I wanted you all to win. I was tempted to ask Jen if she had 50 dresses and bracelets to giveaway. Then I considered just keeping them all for myself.

I contained myself and drew two names. The first pull out of the bowl was Jasperboy! You'll be winning your choice of dress from Jen's shop!

Jasperboy said "...Thanks for sharing this Australian designer with us. I love the Morning Glory fabric, but haven't bought anything like the Willow dress yet. For us non-locals, are there any other designers you can share with us? Supporting aussie craft! ..."

Yes, Yes. I'll definitely be posting more Australian designers. I love trading at the markets and one of the best parts is meeting and chatting with other handcrafters. You will be hearing more about the shops I love soon.

Back to the bowl. I reached in again and half of the names fell out. No kidding. I had to pick them all back up and shove them in to make sure everyone had a fair shot. Note to self, buy bigger bowl.

The next pull was Jemma who mentioned that the Madison Bracelet would be perfect for her three year old glamour queen/niece.

Wow. Two very lucky blog readers! I'm hoping their good karma comes my way soon. I'll send both of your contact details through to Jen.

Speaking Jen, she wanted to make sure I passed along the following: "Thank you everyone so much for your nice comments about my new online shop. This is all new for me so it's very encouraging to get such positive feedback from all of you. Congratulations to the winners, I hope you like your prizes. For everyone else, I will run another competition later in the year when I have some new items. Thanks a bunch! Jen"

For those who didn't win this time, maybe you'll win the next one! I hope so!
