the movie that rocked
Mr Badskirt and I went on an outing today to our local cinema. We used to do this quite a bit, but now we're old and house-ridden so we only go once in a blue moon. Today we saw The Boat That Rocked. Tonight, I'm telling you to see it. See it for the story. See it to laugh. See it for the music. And because this is a craft blog...

Glad to hear a good review - I've been hoping to see this. And now its even more enticing, knowing there are granny squares too!
ReplyDeleteThe storyline reminds me of a vintage Goodies episode where they set up a pirate radio station on The Saucy Gibbon (but as they had only one record, all they broadcast was A Walk In The Black Forest). Actually, I suspect the Boat That Rocked has better music!
I'm planning to see it this week. Now I'm looking forward to it even more.
