I won't deny that there are some very slow moving projects in our house. My train set is one of them. Ages ago, I picked up a nice box for them at Vinnies. I'm toying with using the box as part of my market displays and decided to finally dress it up with reproduction travel stickers. I picked most of these up at an Art Deco museum in Miami, and I've grabbed a few of them from my actual travels.
Do any of you scrapbookers or crafty readers have any tips for distressing and ages them without looking like I've intentionally done it?
You could use brewed tea to give them an aged yellow appearance, and maybe use some fine sand paper to distress them and the box a little.
