three short hat stories.

Hat Story 1

Another new hat for me, made from memory as I didn't have a pattern handy on the bus. Made from an alpaca, wool and acrylic blend. Uber soft. The buttons are family heirlooms. Similar to the Durango pattern.

Mr Badskirt said it looked rastafarian. I must have given even an evil sneer because he quickly backpedalled and said, "I meant classic. It looks classic."

Hat Story 2

I made a green hat once, and it was ok. I added a band and a bill to it, then it was oh so much better.

Hat Story 3

Once, I toyed with the idea of selling hats at the market. Then I realized this meant people would try them on, leaving me prone to bringing home a small nit (lice) colony which could consume my house. The idea freaked me out, so I'm not selling hats... ever... The top secret idea that I'm working on... not hats.
