Sunday Stash - Liberty and Linen Kei
I thought I would join the Sunday Stash flickr groups this week as my personal stash continues to grow.
I'll admit a certain amount of ineptitude when I look at the Liberty fabric walls in Japan. Very posh fabric, lots of flowers. How do you pick? How do you know what's good? I get fabric paralysis. I don't feel worthy of the bolts.
After three trips, I was finally brave enough to dive in under the guise of shopping for others. I've indulged myself with the tiniest treat of blue and green liberty prints.
The aqua dot below is something that I'm madly surprised isn't already the talk of fabricland. It's a 100% linen aqua spot from Kei. The selvedge is hard to read, but I'm pretty sure it's called Pierrot. I sent some meterage home on the slowboat from Japan with my goccos. It was too heavy for both the luggage and airmail. I brought a tiny bit home with me to use in projects until it arrives.
How's your Sunday? Are you busy stashing?
your stash is always good.
