Can you keep it?
Here it goes...
Flashcards are the bee's knees.
Add a sticker and you have a price tag...
With a little washi tape, you've got a ribbon holder...
If you have a snazzy machine like mine, they make a fun way to store buttons...
or floss! Just add a few snips to tuck in the tails and you are all set. Unlike the standard floss cards, there is plenty of space to label them. Since flashcards come on a ring, you've got an instant travel kit! Just add a little felt to one to hold needles and pins.
The most helpful use in our house are as meterage counters on fabric bolts.
And how great would they be for market display cards for buttons, brooches and earrings? I've been using these diecut ones for a while now and am thinking of stocking them in the store. What do you think? Can you think of any other nifty uses for them? And do you have a sewing room secret?! Let us in! I promise we won't tell! *wink wink*
Those are too cute! :)
ReplyDeleteMy sewing room secret is to always keep chocolate or cookies close at hand. Just in case!
Oh they are so cute Amy, love the fun shapes. I'd use them for gift tags as well, maybe with a bit of stitching on them? Yes, you should stock them, I'd buy some!
ReplyDeleteYou could label them with items of clothing and attach the extra thread and buttons that came with each item. Keep them on a ring and then you're never looking for the extras when you've got a hole or a missing button.
ReplyDeletethose are super cute!! i need to do something for my embroidery floss!! they are getting in a tangled mess!
ReplyDeleteAfter all these years, I still have a ridiculous love for the Ellison machine. Die cuts are are best!
ReplyDeleteWell, that's atleast 5 different kinds of awesome. So cool! :-)
ReplyDeleteThose are unbelievably cute! I would like to have some right now.
