Swap In. Swap Out.

I'm caught up in swaps lately and loving in. Yes, there's a mad amount of stress, but when a package like this arrives, it's completely worth it:

Donna of Allz I'm Sewing Is... pegged me to a tee with these goodies for the Urban Home Goods Swap. In this swap you mentioned a few things around the house you might need like a sewing machine cover, placemats or a wall-hanging. Me, I needed potholders... badly. Not only did I get perfect potholders, I also got the best little market apron in Echino. I've been wearing it all the time instead of carrying a handbag. So so good. Thank you, Donna!

I've got two swaps on the books right now to work on. The first due is a pillow swap, but that's been momentarily shelved for a hexagon swap. It's due later, but I was inspired. We're sending basted (but not sewn together hexagons)to a partner inspired by their colour picks, blogs, favorites and mosaics. This is the start of the stack that I'm sending. I let Heather Ross guide me in colour palette and theme. Rabbits and racecars. Light blues, oranges, goldens, butters. Cars and forest friends. Yum.
