Buses and books on a hill-sloped campus.
This week, I'm giving myself a crash course in Consumer Behaviour. Next week, I'll be knee deep into my first two electives, Understanding Buyer Behaviour and Product and Brand Management.
You never know where life is going to take you. Some times you need to give it a little nudge in the direction you'd like to head. Other times you need to grab the wheel, take the exit and set off in a whole new direction.
I know quite a few crafty fiends are heading back to school this term, and I've heard from a few more that it's something they'd like to do. I've also heard recently that my generation will go through seven career changes in our lifetime. Seven! With that in mind, you shouldn't be scared of trying something new. So if university is something that you've been thinking about, why not take that leap now? Whether you'll be a new student or a returning one, full-time or part-time; learning more about a subject you love makes sense.
As for me, I'm very very excited.

A special thank you to Amisha who send the perfect school tote bag during the Spicing Up the Kitchen Swap. It was an extra that she included. She had no way of knowing it then, but it was exactly what I needed as I begin my (returning) student journey.

Wow, congratulations! Who knows what will be along this new path?
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! I just completed a masters and though it was a little weird to go back to grad school with 21 year olds, it was the best decision that I made since my last degree. Good luck!
ReplyDeletePromotional Marketing was my favourite undergrad marketing subject. Much more fun that International Marketing or any other serious businessy ones.
ReplyDeleteNo school for me this week - I'm starting a new job instead!
Woohoo for you! Congrats and good luck!
ReplyDeletebtw I am a student too! Early Greek literature and myth- not quite as marketable as Marketing, I know ;)
ReplyDeleteGood luck and congratulations! I'm super excited for you.
ReplyDeleteGood to see I'm not the only crazy one... best of luck with the Uni stuff. I took a little break, but going back next month so I'll be thinking of you :)
