Bloomin' Wonder.

(Stitching by me. Panel design and photo by Saffron Craig!)

While working at Saffron's booth at the quilt show, I spied some panels in the booth. I asked if I could take one home overnight for a bit of quick stitching fun. I like those quick little projects that give you immediate satisfaction.

I'm not a great stitcher, but it wasn't a project that called for even running stitches and perfect french knots. Just simple lovely stitches made with Finca Perle 12 and Wonderfil. After a night of stitching during Masterchef, I dug out a button to finish it off. Then I gifted it back to Saffron. A happy collaboration. She's got a few more designs available too. I took a bundle of them home after the show. If you pop over to her shop, you should be able to pick some up.

They are the perfect for pincushions, lavender sachets, or applique on little corduroy pants.

Thanks Saffron for sharing the a photo! It was heaps of fun.
