Psst. I'm starting a doughnut photography blog, Pastry of the Masses. My friend, John, assures me that doughnuts are for everyone. He even coined the phrase that kicked off the blog. I'm pretty sure it's going to have a cult following. You're going to want to say, "I was there when Pastry of the Masses started." It's a perfectly strange thing to do, but it seems so fitting for me.

It is a shame you live so far away. Here in Northern California we have "Psycho Donuts" with names like "Glazed and Confused" and "Cereal Killer". Check them out on line.
ReplyDeleteDonuts are my favourite snack, but only hot cinnamon ones. Or maybe an iced one if you twist my arm. When I lived in the UK as a child they had huge jam ones full of fluro pink "strawberry" jam, dusted in icing sugar, which were a bit scary. ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE donuts....in fact, I hope to have my own "donut tree" in heaven. It will be wonderful to just pick and eat them all day long!!! Mini powdered sugar donuts are my fav. :)
