and decided I should use them up instead of having them take up cupboard space. They were mostly pinks and yellows since I handed the coveted blues over to people seeking them.
I decided to pull out my Sizzix and my fan blade die and whip up some small circles. I do own the outer arc to go with the fan blades but decided that I'd rather make circles and applique them onto a background for a more freeform look.
I'm always excited when I see things come together so quickly. 40 minutes. That's what it took to get this far. I haven't ironed any of it yet, but it's obvious that they'll sit nice and flat which is just perfect. These four seem just about the right size for a cushion cover on charcoal linen. Now to find some charcoal linen...
If you are in Australia, I recommend Annie's for Sizzix dies and machines. They are a superfriendly mother-daughter team. Also, you save a fortune in postage buying in Australia as dies and machines are heavy. Not a sponsored post, BTW. Just shouting out about a local company that I like.

I think you should use those outer arcs for doing some raw edge applique. Makes it a super quick applique. Maybe you could do it for a small project, make the arcs tree tops or something. The circles above are delicious, by the way
