Random Hookups.

One of the advantages of an unsorted stash is that fabrics sometimes fall next to each other in a way you wouldn't expect. Random hookups in the fabric world.

I hadn't envisioned these prints together, but it's clear they were destined to marry. The Ruby Star clocks were bought on voucher at a local shop. For those of you in the states, word on the street is that Chicopee starts shipping this week!

Bag or quilt?! I can't decide.

  2. I have the Ruby Star Shining typewriters. It's a bit heavier than quilter's cotton. Is this the same? FITF made a quilt with the typewriter fabric. It is very cute.

  3. Totally agree about the possibilities that pop up when fabrics are placed together randomly. I have scrap drawers for my Japanese fabrics (one for truly teeny ones and one for merely teeny ones); sometimes two will happen to be near one another, and the combination is magical but wouldn't have occurred to me in a million years.

Those two fabrics would be awesome in a bag OR quilt!
