Not too long along, I won a Farbenmix pattern in German which has been compared to plans for building the death star or something close. At the time, I thought I had no one to make them for, so I made the smallest size. Then I forgot the seam allowance resulting in the world's tiniest pair of hiphop pants.
Some creative thinking on the couch last night got me to thinking that this pattern may actually adapt to my size. After all, I can comfortunately wear a boys 14/16 if they are made a tad baggy. I pulled out my death star plans and realized I could not read the german sizes. I'm guessing they vaguely relate to height, but I can't be sure. I'm 147cm tall which sort of fits between the 146/152 number?
So I went to the Farbenmix Wiki that these ladies told me about ages ago. I searched for the info, but couldn't find it.
Unable to find what I needed, I decided to at least add what I could to the Wiki. I won this pattern and I wanted to make sure that I gave back in some way. So I contributed some Pattern Notes, Official Links and Categories to the Mika page. Hopefully one of the sweet gals who actually finished their pants could add some pictures. If you don't know how, just let me know and I'll try to help.
And if you know German sizes, I'd love to know if anything is vaguely a US boys 14/16?
