I had finished the last step of my grandmother's garden quilt a few weeks ago, just as we were finishing our holiday. Then I folded it up and politely tucked it away in a corner without showing anyone my accomplishment.
Today, I was meeting fabric friends for coffee and I with a tinge of pride, I brought it along to show off. As it happens, we were at the perfect venue for finished project photos.
It's even been properly inspected by a wee tot. Yes. It's done.
Dare I tell you what I want to hand piece next?
Beautiful, the back edging is a treat!
