An Overdue QDAD Update

You Put The Color In It
Eek! Has it really been four months since I posted my Quilt Design a Day designs? I'm still at it - not every day, but with enough regularity to keep pushing myself creatively and improving. QDAD is still a great group of people who share ideas and constructive feedback. Whether you are brand new to graphics programs or an old hat at them, I still highly recommend giving it a go.

I've been meaning to make a microsite with my favorite designs, but it's unfortunately low on the todo list. In the meantime, here are a few of my favorites from the last four months.

Tacos for Familia
Blocks

Lanterns 2

Vetted

Antics

Duck Duck Duck Goose

Sunshine

Pier Born

Gumdrop Renegade

Flip Happy

  1. Glad to see you post, I was thinking about you and hoping this week found you in good health and spirits. I think I like the duck duck goose one the most for the title!

  5. The last two are my favs. Quilts like the last one make such a great impact when finished. But, you know, I don't enjoy making ones like that with such simplicity. I wish I did! Maybe someday I will =)

  6. Thanks for the youtube update. I hope you continue to improve and perhaps someday learn what happened.

  7. Antics and Tacos for Familia are my favorites - so 70s! How would you sew Antics? I am a fairly accomplished quilter, but have not idea how that one would work? Applique? You have got a great eye for color!

  8. Hi Amy--Love all these, but my favorite will always be your green ("Cordial"?) quilt. So glad you're feeling better.
