It's fun to make something
out of nothing. Make it fun. Your lines don't have to be straight. You're corners don't have to be meet. You don't need to make an heirloom. Just make it happy, and you may surprise yourself.

The quilt top is done. I think she'll be lovely, if not a tad bright.
This is beautiful - what a lovely choice of fabrics.
ReplyDeleteOh Amy, that is just lovely. (one can never go "too bright" according to the Wink Designs school of colour selection....)
ReplyDeleteThat looks really cool! I love the bright colours!
ReplyDeleteYou've done a top job with your quilt. Well done...and on to the next one!
ReplyDeleteIf I'm to be a rockstar then - hmmm let me be - Bette Midler - in the days before wind beneath my wings (blech)- ooo Patti Smith just came on the ipod. Perhaps she's telling me something??!

ReplyDeleteOh but it WILL be an heirloom! Yay! Can't wait to see it all finished.
ReplyDeleteI love it! And it may be bright, but it's harmonious. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteNow that's a triumph! How on earth do you get so much done in so little time?
ReplyDeleteBright is ace. My first quilt was almost fluro and I love it. There's mistakes and all but I love it.
