The
needs binding shelf is overflowing. My poor
bird quilt has been sitting there for five months. Yesterday, I decided to do something about it. Using some of the last of my D's Selection umbrella print, I made a very thin edge on the front to subtly highlight a very bright quilt. As the quilt itself is quite bold, the binding didn't need much.
Scrolling back quite a bit, I see I actually
started making the blocks last March! I've just nipped in under the one year wire with five days to spare on this one. I'm waiting for a wash and dry for it's big wrinkly reveal.

Welcome to Monday; the day where Amy's contract is over and has once again returned to full-time crafting.
