some thing is growing.

One of the joys of being home is taking time to look around the house and see what's been afoot while I've been away. Craig and I aren't known for our green thumbs. Mostly that's due to frequent travel. We leave our poor plants abandoned at home to fend for themselves. Given the time and inclination, I'm sure we could be plant people. Last week we repotted our some-kind-of-succulents. Like all of the plants that have come before, these guys are referred to as Henry. At the same time, we placed random seed packs in pots. Our seed choices were motivated by what could be found in the clearance bin; not necessarily by the pots they would be calling home. Baby carrots have erupted.

  1. The plant in the middle looks like a jade plant. Someone is bound to know the botanical name. For a household that is often absent it is quite a forgiving plant. Apparently one at the back door and one at the front leads to wealth of some description!!

  3. It is hard to kill a jade - good choice there. And good luck with the carrots!
