C must have understood that I was feeling a little deflated yesterday. He offered up some moolah for a Friday pick-me-up. I managed to spend only half of it, so I can treat myself again next week too.
- Fine Feathered from Field Study. Say that 3 times fast.
- Simple Plaid from Chicopee. I decided I love it and needed more than 20cm
- Jinny Beyer Block book found at the craft op shop. It's her older book, but looks like it will be great for border ideas. I'm never creative when it comes to borders.
I'm taking these with me and going to start a new project at the Wollongong Modern Quilt Guild tomorrow. Will you be there?
Sorry to hear about your quilt woes but happy to know you've got a man who comes to the cheer-up rescue.
ReplyDeleteHave fun in at the Guild! I looked into getting my MFA at Wollongong once upon a time but foreign student tuition and a move to the opposite end of the earth wasn't in the cards then. It's still on my list of places to visit, though!
Yes I will be there, they are a great bunch of ladies. See you there
ReplyDeleteI'll be there! We met briefly at Saffron's stall in Sydney but you must have met hundreds of people there, looking forward to having you join us tomorrow!
