It's a monumental week here in the Badskirt house. I finished my last improv log cabin for my granny throw. This project started out really small and grew a bit. I took it on vacation with me each time I flew to Japan. I couldn't count how many times those skeins have cross the equator. I'd run out of a color and then I'd travel and buy more. I'd nearly finished in Perth when I ran out of red one last time. I picked up an extra skein on my last trip to Tokyo and declared "that's it". Whatever I get from this ball is the last of it. The truth is that it still isn't a practical size. It'll be a bit small when I get those last squares on. But I think I've reached the point where I'm ready to call it finished. At 40" square, it doesn't sound like much. But it will have all have been made on a tiny 2.5mm hook. By the next of next week, I should have those last five blocks attached.
I've got a big list of UFOs and I'm ticking them off. Tick. Tick.
