I paid $53 locally because I wanted to start sewing with it today. If you've got the slightest bit of patience, QuiltJane has the precuts for this collection substantially cheaper in Australia. My patience was zero. I said it was a Christmas gift? Hmm. I opened it today...
I'll use this collection as a whole in a quilt for our couch. I'll use the duplicates in the layer cake for zipper pouches and baskets around our home. I think the range is a winner. There's only a handful in the collection that I probably wouldn't pick up on their own.
The soft warm greys are relaxing. The mustards have just the right amount of zing.
I'd like to pick up yardage of the semi-oval prints when they come out. I think it will make for some pretty outstanding binding.
This collection looks like a winner to me! I've been buying a lot less fabric lately, but this was something couldn't resist.
I can't wait for this collection! I'm normally not a big moda girl, but this is so much more graphic than their usual stuff. I can't wait to see what you do with it... no pressure!
ReplyDeleteOh Wow! I want some too! Thanks for the insight!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to get my hands on a stack of this collection. The graphics and colors are spot on!
ReplyDeleteOoo I am loving that! I am picky about what fabric I buy, but that is going on my list!
ReplyDelete$53! Ouch. I usually charge in the $40s for layer cakes, but I don't have this one in stock. Look forward to seeing what you do with it.
ReplyDeleteI love this collection. And I appreciate the photos -- I like seeing all the prints laid out this way. It gives me a much better idea of the scale of the prints as well as the colors. Can't wait to see what it turns into!
ReplyDeleteI really like it too! Thanks for sharing the pretty photos.
ReplyDeleteOoo, love this....off to browse further.... ;-)
