I've started on my 23 quilt. I've settled on Mint Julep from Weeks Ringle and Bill Kerr in Transparency Quilts. I checked it out from the library. It's due back tomorrow, so I better crack that whip.
I won't use all the transparency techniques they talk about, but I think it's a really good reference for understanding value and tone in combination. I love where this is headed. I think I've done well in picking a pattern that works with the scale and style of this range. I'm feeling really good about it so far.
Fabric: 2wenty-thr3e from Cosmo Cricket aka the Comstocks for Moda. I used 24 of roughly 25 unique prints in the layercake. I'm excited that I'll have a stack of the duplicates left for other projects.

I signed up for Week Ringle's Craftsy class a month or so ago, she's a great teacher! I'll be looking forward to your finished quilt top!
