Can you tell that I'm excited about this fabric line?! Or maybe I'm trying to justify the ridiculous amount that I paid or my layer cake? Maybe a little of both. As it turns out, the layer cake is a great size to make to make the small version of Anna's open wide zippered pouches, a terrific free tutorial.

This is 2wenty-thr3e by Eric and Julie Comstock of Cosmo Cricket for Moda. It came out in precuts in Australia just recently. Yardage will be available around February, I think?

ReplyDeleteI have made 4 of these pouches this week for my nieces and a couple of her pencil case tutorials for the nephews - still yet to make Nikkí's new USB fob pattern to go with the boys ones. Mum has just made some of her ruffled purse tutorials for my nieces too - she really does a great job with her tutorials! There will be many more of these pouches made over the hols to restash the present box for 2013. Have a wonderful Christmas Amy, see you at GWSMQG in the NY. C x
