Sydney Opening - Calico&Ivy

Sydney's newest craft venue opens it's doors on Monday at 10am. I know quite a few ladies who are as excited as I am. They've even booked a childminder, so they have more time to enjoy the shop.

Calico&Ivy is on the verge of opening in their newest location in Balmain at 10 Birchgrove Rd. I'm quite lucky to join the team at this gorgeous shop.

Though I won't start my shifts until Wednesday, you'll find me there Monday morning giddy as can be. I'll be chatting with Belinda and drooling around the shop. If you stop by, say hello. And don't forget to say hi to Sarah and Donna at the counter too.

I can think of a few hundred reasons to visit...

If the wall of Liberty isn't enough to wow, stop by to look at the Oliver&S patterns on the shelf just below. My semi-regular hours will be Wednesday-Friday from 10-5. I'm, of course, happy to help you with those patterns if you get stumped.

These images are from the Calico&Ivy blog. They only give a small glimpse at what Sarah and Debbie have setup. There's also a wall of yarn, a chest of trims, Sophie Digard gift ware, Kaffe Fassett home wares and even a place to sit for a spot of tea. Many of you are already familiar with Calico&Ivy from their flagship Perth store, as well as their online shop. The Balmain store is sure to be another winner.
