Ahh, I see you have documented the quilt wrangling dance, traditionally performed by the partner or family member of a quilter who is trying to get a photo of a quilt on a windy day.
And you can hardly even see his lips muttering assorted swear words!! On the positive, what you can see of the quilts looks good - so I guess we'll just have to wait for Plan B.
I seriously like these snaps. Spontaneous, fun, Real. Kudos to you both and to real life. Particularly interested in first three snaps. Please share info re quilt, block, fabric ?
Hi Donna, you'll find details for the quilt block on my tutorials page under Bargain Basement. The fabrics are a mix from my collection. The border is an out of print fabric from Suzuko Koseki of Japan.
funny! but he can't help the wind!
ReplyDeleteYou could work a telephone cord thinger on a clip and clip the bottom edge to his pant leg....or not.
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha! Just when he is trying to be helpful, the wind conspires against him. You gotta give a guy credit for standing in public holding a quilt
ReplyDeleteHahahahahaha wonderful stuff

DeleteLook again. I Seriously admire snaps! Real life, fresh, spontaneious, wit, fun! The very antithesis of staged.
ReplyDeleteOf special interest to me would be the fabulous quilt in the first 3 snaps. Would you share info re pattern, block, fabric used ?
