Kite Study, June 21 |

Galaxy, June 23 |
Another couple of weeks of mostly daily designing under my belt. Honestly, I haven't felt this good creatively in ages. We've had a lot of new people join the
Quilt Design A Day Facebook group recently which is great. Some people design, some people leave constructive feedback - both kinds of members are welcome.
What I love most about the group is how we encourage each other and help each other out. Even if you've never designed a quilt or used a graphic program before, don't be afraid. The worst thing that will happen is that you'll ask a question in the group and someone will probably help you. The good thing about a daily exercise is that tomorrow can always be better.
The last two designs are blurry because I'm sorting out new technology. In a sign that I'm addicted to this process, I bought a new phone so I could make designs when we're away on holidays. Our mobile phones were aging, and we decided it was time to upgrade. I chose a Note 3 with a stylus and would love recommendations for Android-compatible vector-based drawing and pattern design apps. Do you know of any?
I think my favorite designs in this round are Cream Candy, Dorchester's Peeping Tom and Galaxy. I'm hoping I can sew them up soon!
Your designs are wonderful. It is great to see them all together. I think my favorite is Dorchester's Peeping Tom and Cream Candy.
